I CAME TO AMSTERDAM ON A VACATION
AND THE ONLY DEADLINE I HAD WAS MY VISA.
I WANTED TO FIND MY PEOPLE
BUT I ENDED UP DREAMING OF A COMMUNITY.
CLBHUIS.
ONE EVENT TURNED INTO MANY.
A GROUP OF FRIENDS GREW INTO A COMMUNITY OF 150+.
NOW WE BRING ARTISTS, CREATIVES, AND FREELANCERS TOGETHER.
WHY?
CREATIVE GROWTH COMES FROM COMMUNITY.
WE COULD TELL YOU HOW WE INSPIRE AND CONNECT AND BLA DE BLAH.
BUT WE’D RATHER HAVE YOU SEE FOR YOURSELF.
TRY US. TASTE THE GOODS. YOU’LL SEE.
WE DID THE HARD PART.
NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS

Britt Broadwood
FOUNDER/ CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Across my career, whether as an Executive Assistant in fashion, a marketer, a designer, or the Head of Creative Partnerships at a social media start-up, one thing has always been true: I thrive when collaborating with other creatives.
In 2023, my life flipped upside down. In an effort of reinvention, I booked a one-way ticket to Amsterdam for a two week vacation. I never left.
In a city where I knew no one, cultivating CLBHUIS was my way of building a home. Starting again. Surrounding myself with creatives across industries has not only pushed me professionally, but inspired me to contribute shamelessly and fearlessly to the people and projects around me.
Community is the thread that ties us together, and builds resilience when we need it most.
Let’s grow together.

Tyler Hutton
PARTNER / CREATIVE STRATEGIST
My career in the creative industry started in production. Producing work for some big boys like KFC, Unilever, and Coca-Cola. I noticed my mouth watering but my creative side felt a bit dry. In search of a creative outlet I found myself joining local creative competitions in Amsterdam, and to my surprise, winning them.
The love for creative work prompted me to begin working as a creative. And yes, many people have called me ‘Tyler the Creative”. Currently I'm happily employed at Happiness Amsterdam.
I'm originally from New York City. In comparison Amsterdam feels like a small town.
The mission of my involvement in CLBHUIS is to empower creatives through community. I never understood why people would climb over others to get ahead in life. Wouldn't it be nicer if we all got there together?
